Box screen printer

Box screen printer is a screen printer for some rectangular box containers. The structure itself has not changed much. The main feature is that a cantilever fixture can be made to hang the box for printing. Box printing is very simple technically, but it is not easy to choose the most optimized and efficient screen printer.

This type of box has four sides, and different users have different printing requirements for the four sides:
1. Print only one side
1) One color per side
It is relatively simple to print only one side. Make a fixture to make the printing surface at the top, and the screen of the screen printer can be printed when it drops.
2) Print multiple colors on one side
In most cases, one side will not be printed in more than three colors. You can buy multiple screen printers, each printing one color, and print more colors by changing the ink and screen on the same screen printer. This is a more cumbersome procedure. If you buy a shuttle-type multi-color flat screen printer, the cumbersome procedure will be greatly reduced, and the screen printer will help you solve the problem.

2.Print two symmetrical surfaces
The same pattern
Some users require printing on the two symmetrical surfaces of the box: There are two situations. One is to print the same pattern. In this way, you can manually flip the box 180 degrees and do silk screen printing; You can also make an automatic flip fixture. After printing one side, the fixture drives the box to automatically flip 180 degrees and print the symmetrical surface.

If the user requires printing different patterns on the symmetrical surface, it must be achieved by changing the screen and ink, but this situation is rare.

3.Print four sides and each side is monochrome.
This situation is relatively common. There are two symmetrical surfaces on the four sides. Most users require printing the same pattern on two symmetrical surfaces and another pattern on the other symmetrical surface. This can still be achieved by changing the screen and ink. Obviously, this method is more cumbersome. The best solution is to customize a silk screen printer with two silk screen devices and automatic flip fixtures.

The box first prints one side, then automatically flips 180 degrees to print the symmetrical surface, then the shuttle moves to the next printing head, prints the third side, and then automatically flips 180 degrees to print another symmetrical surface.

4.Print four sides and each side is multi-color.
Generally, screen printer manufacturers will consider printing two colors on each side, so the four sides have a total of 8 colors, which requires an 8-head screen printer, and the workbench needs to be flipped many times. Whether to complete the two-color printing first or the flip first is a test of the screen printer program.
1) Flip first
Since the symmetrical surfaces are required to have the same pattern, the screen printer can flip first, for example, print the first color at the first station, then flip 180 degrees to print the symmetrical surface, then move the box to the second station to print the second color, and flip 180 degrees to print the symmetrical surface.
2) Overprint first
The box is first printed with the first color at the first station, then shuttled to the second station to print the second color, and then the box returns to the first station, rotates 180 degrees, and performs two-color printing on the symmetrical surface.

There is no technical difficulty in making a screen printing machine for boxes. For users, it is nothing more than a balance between price and process. Making an assembly line may improve production efficiency, but it will also make the length of the production line unacceptable and the price will increase sharply. If the length of the production line is controlled, the number of machine flips and reciprocations will increase, affecting the printing quality.
